The picturesque market town of Loulé is set in the hills surrounded by scenic countryside and is well known as a cultural and artistic centre. There is a wonderful Saturday street market around the historic fish market in the centre of town with some excellent restaurants, cafes and bars. The local facilities include a good private hospital and many local shops, as well as the huge shopping centre located south of the town.

There are some really impressive properties in the surrounding countryside, many with spectacular country and coastal views and often with large gardens and privacy. Ideal for residential or holiday use there are many local Portuguese as well as all nationalities who chose this lovely area. The old character houses in the town and modern apartments surrounding the centre are ideal for anyone wanting all year round activity with things to do.
